Transferring your UK domains to Kimpton Web Hosting is simple if you
follow the guidelines in this FAQ. In basic, you need to:-
1. Change the IPS Tag of the domain to
EXTEND
2. Log into your control panel and select Domain Transfer
3. Enter the domain you want to transfer to Kimpton Web Hosting and
Checkout
1. Log into your 123-reg members area
2. Select to Modify the domain you want to move
3. In the Domain Control Panel select 'Change IPS Tag'
4. Enter EXTEND as the new IPS Tag
5. After 24 hours log into your Kimpton Web Hosting Control Panel
6. Search for the domain name to transfer
7. Select the domain you want to transfer to Kimpton Web Hosting and
Checkout
1. Log into your account with UKREG
2. Select 'Services -> All domains and packages' from UKREG
3. Select your UK domain that you want to move to us
4. Show all registration settings
5. Transfer this domain to another provider
6. Enter EXTEND as the new IPS Tag
7. After 24 hours log into your Kimpton Web Hosting Control Panel
8. Search for the domain name to transfer
9. Select the domain you want to transfer to Kimpton Web Hosting and
Checkout
In order to transfer a domain away from Easyspace you need to
contact their staff so that they can assist you with the process.
Please ensure that you have all the required information to hand.
They will provide you with a licence key that will enable you to go
online and complete the transfer process.

Account Details: Your Easyspace Account number, username and
password.
For .uk domains: The IPS Tag the domain is being released to, which
is EXTEND
For TLD's: The registrar the domain is being transferred to, which
is Tucows/OpenSRS
Please note that all domain transfers away from Easyspace currently
incur an administration fee of £15 ex. VAT.
***UPDATE to EasySpace Process***
1) Login to your Control Panel.
2) Click Service Management.
3) Select Transfer Management.
4) Click Transfer Away.
5) You then need to call a number to get a "licence" key.
6) When you have the key click "Click Here".
7) Select your domain name and enter the "licence" key.
8) On next screen select EXTEND from the drop-down list and
enter your credit card details (the current charge is £15.00).

Transferring your domains to Kimpton Web Hosting is simple if you follow
the guidelines in this FAQ.
Before you start the transfer you must ensure that the current
administration contact email address is valid and that the person
receiving email at that address knows that they must respond to
emails about the transfer. The domain name must also be unlocked
with the current registrar.
1. Log into your Kimpton Web Hosting Control Panel, search for and select
the Domain
to Transfer.
2. Enter the domain name that you want to transfer to Kimpton Web
Hosting
and checkout.
3. The administration contact will receive an email from OpenSRS
with instructions on how to confirm the transfer.
4. Once confirmed it will take only 24 HOURS to become active if you
are transferring from 123-reg or UKREG. With other providers it may
take up to seven days.
5. You may also receive another email from the current registrar, if
you do you should read this very carefully as it may contain
instructions for you to authorise the transfer away from them.
If you are currently with UK2 you must follow this procedure BEFORE
you initiate the transfer with Kimpton Web Hosting :
1. Connect to http://www.joker.com
2. Select 'servicezone' from the menu on the left
3. Obtain a username and password by following the instructions
given
4. Log into the maintenance section with your username and password
and select 'transfer away'
5. The registrant of the domain and the current administration
contact of the domain will be sent an email with details of a
'transfer window'. You must respond to this email
6. Once the 'transfer window' date has started you can then initiate
the transfer with Kimpton Web Hosting by following the instructions
above.
Note:
UK2 have recently changed their systems. You may need to visit
http://amail.co.uk/moveaway.htm instead, entering your domain name
and password.
You need to ask the new domain host for their IPSTAG so that you can
then change the TAG to theirs in the domain control panel under
"Change Nominet TAG".
Please enter the TAG there and it will be shortly updated by Nominet,
ready for the new domain hosts to transfer the domain in fully.
